Simplest Broadaxes introduces broadaxes that work like axes but chop down the whole tree, making wood gathering and deforestation much easier in the mid-to-late game stages.

How It Works

Broadaxes

Broadaxes are larger and slower versions of regular axes. Unlike standard ones, which cut individual logs, broadaxes fell entire trees at once. However, this power comes at a cost - they chop 2 times slower, and the Efficiency enchantment is 80% less effective on them.

To obtain a broadaxe you need to first find a new smithing template to improve your axe. You can find it in villages: more often in weaponsmith, toolsmith & armorer houses, less often in regular houses.

Using the smithing template and a block of appropriate material on the smithing table, you can upgrade your axe to a brand new broadaxe.

Trimming

Trimming is a new enchantment for broadaxes that allows you to cut down all leaves from trees at once, working similarly to the fast leaf decay mod.
